Carole Vincent is a painter and sculptor. She pioneered the use of colour concrete, and her exuberant free-form shapes and brilliant colours punctuate her environmental and garden designs. In 2001 she was a medal-winner at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, and in 2005 the Devon Guild of Craftsmen presented a major retrospective exhibition of her work. She is the author of Concrete Works, illustrated by the photographs of Clive Boursnell.
